National Geographic celebrates 125 years

December 31, 2012 — Leave a comment

Our workshops are based on board the National Geographic Explorer, part of the Lindblad fleet of ships that visits the world’s most spectacular expedition destinations. National Geographic is about to celebrate 125 years. Both Cotton Coulson and David Wright are proud to have been long time contributors to National Geographic and to have played a part in forging their reputation with such events as winning Nat Geo’s 100th Emmy for David’s polar bear film “Realm of the Great White Bear”, as well as Cotton many award winning stories in the magazine.

We would like to wish them a Happy Birthday, and hope you will join us on one of their expeditions in 2013.

For 125 years, National Geographic have been at the leading edge of exploration, conservation, and scientific research. Now technology is allowing us to go places and make discoveries never possible before. This is a new age of exploration, and we’re glad to have you with us on the journey. Let’s explore.
